Some Crysis Beta screens for you

okay i just seen in videos that you could pick up chickens en other but pressed every key and no chicken run.
 
I get mostly 30 fps but it fluctuates between 20-30 sometimes,6.14.11.6344 bioshock beta drivers haven't changed yet DX9 [email protected] 2gb@401mhz 8800gts 640mb@600/1800.
At 20 fps it's still very smooth strange but true.

Here's what you can expect with a lower end card (think x2600xt, x1800xt, 7800gt, 8600gt etc.) all taken at 1680x1050 and resized.

What card did you do the screenshots on because its still under 30fps. That is a very high res still imo

If your going to call 1800xt low end then you need a sub prime category for 7300 performance, etc

7800gt, and I called it 'lower' end... it's basically a mid range card for most people or for a gamer it could be considered fairly low end now (with 8800 SLi/2900 Xfire being very high end).
 
christ, thanks for the screenshots, that's tons :) looks really nice

grass is so hard to do well, no-one's really managed it yet, i prefer it when games just don't have grassy scenes, like tarmac instead -half life can get away with this!

Let's see what Ep2 looks like, the vast majority of it is set in't woods ;) I'm sure it'll look great though, as the previous HLs did when they came to market.
 
right, the same kind guy (nudge nudge wink wink) obliged with 1680x1050 at max settings (fairly unplayable on a 320mb version of a 8800 but look pretty none the less)

for some reason photobucket and paint hate each other, and are making that kind of double picture, i might try re hosting somewhere else :/
