People could call me that if they want, I don't correct people when I see it in posts (like a lot of people would) and there isn't really any other example that bothers me.

Yes, this issue does drive me to tears, I'm not even sure if I'll make it through the day.

I notice (and possibly) make plenty of spelling mistakes on my various forays into various boards, throughout any one particular day.
Unfortunately in this day and age, word processing (with tools like 'spellcheck') have made for the younger generation to not take precautions over their spelling ability and rely far too heavily on software to do that for us. This makes for poor spelling during times when 'spellcheck' can't be used.

And this is what bothers me, seeing as you grew up in the country from which the language originates.

you are correct....nobody cares and indeed it isn't important...in fact its even a little funny TBH.

But what's really funny is when someone forgets that they are filling in a job application or writing a CV and not posting on the web and that application or CV gets put right in the bin by the employer.

who is it that really 'looses' in life?

Yes i spelt annoys wrong :D

Don't know why i generally suck at spelling, im 22 and i used to spell didnt with two D's until last week :(

I mix letters up to, im the same with speech lol

Does "don't read it if you don't like it" really work when it's aimed at me reading a reply to a thread I created?

People who don't try to spell correctly really annoy me.
 
I notice this a lot too. I don't care if people use it really, I just presume they're complete idiots.
