As you can see, it's a terrible day of football tomorrow bar the televised match. Poor selection (imo) of televised games for Sunday, shame the Liverpool Spurs game isn't on. Nevermind!

United's problems have been dicussed in the Carrick thread, and I'd expect the following team:

Kuszcscscazzak
O'Shea - Ferdinand - Vidic - Evra
Ronaldo - Giggs - Scholes - Nani
Rooney - Saha

Although Anderson may get a look in either for Nani or Giggs.

Now i fully understand that they can't show the all the top 4 games every week but they should atleast have one of them on Sky. Other than Reading, Derby, Fulham and Pompey fans i really don't think people will be genuinely looking forward to watching the games on Sunday.

Fortunately i can pick-up a few foreign stations that show near enough all the EPL games (with english commentators too) :)

Against Tottenham I think Rafa will go with

Reina

Arbeloa Hyypia Carra Aurellio

Pennant Gerrard Mascherano Riise

Kuyt Torres

Any idea why theres only 2 games on Saturday?

because of the CL and Uefa cup games.

I wouldn't be suprised if Aurelio gets left out after what happened midweek (whether thats for Arbeloa (cos i think Finnan will play rb) or Riise) and i would expect Babel to play on the left.

Well both Fulham and Portsmouth have scored a fair few this season, so it might make decent viewing for the neutral.

I've had a shufty over our available squad for the Tottenham game and I have NO idea what Rafa's gonna do.

Am I the only one that thinks someone else deserves a chance over Pennant? He's had a good run and, credit where it's due, worked very hard but with not a vast output. Benayoun's more creative, has scored a couple of corkers, work rate is excellent and he and Torres have that knack of finding the right pass or move that'll just slip us in behind. With Alonso injured and Stevie not firing on all cylinders, surely we need all the creativity we can get?

Confirmed lineup:

Kussaccacakkakkckckakxaszzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Pique/O'Shea
Ferdinand
Vidic
Evra
Ronaldo
Scholes
O'Shea/Pique
Giggs
Tevez
Rooney

Bench: Heaton,Anderson,Nani,Saha,Simpson

Good to see Pique getting a start I suppose, its what he came back for so hopefully he does himself justice. Bit annoyed at Giggs suddenly jumping back into the team ahead of Nani but nevermind.

It'll be a miracle if we win this. Injuries completely halted the game and it didn't get going until about 35 minutes in. My guess is it'll either be 0-0 or wigan will nick it.

Oh, and Rooney will be off sooner or later the way he's going. Didn't deserve the yellow card and if it stays like this he'll get frustrated eventually.

Nah, wigan are showing nothing up front.
Riley dare not give anything our way because of his supposed record with us, it will most likely end 0-0.
We just dont get going thats the problem.

yellow may have been a little harsh. bramble and rooney both slid for the ball but rooney tried to pull out as wasnt going to get it.
