After going 18 years without suffering the dreaded sting from a wasp or a bee it has finially happened.

The short story.

Stung by a wasp on the bottom of my foot twice and my hand. And its ******* annoyingly painfull.

The long story & rant

Having a (p)**** and then my foot just like spasamed loads, really strange I thought. I was thinking just nerves being silly or something and then it happened again so I started rubbing my hand on the bottom of my foot (i was wearing socks by the way) and I felt this thing in my hand (the wasp) and then it ******* stung me on the hand like in between my index finger and thumb, along that like line of skin, and then I chucked it to the floor and smashed the ****** up with a magazine.

But its just annoying pain. It hurts loads where ive been stung but every so often the pain like spreads along say my hand stays for a bit then subsides and it does that over.

Hand is worst than my foot in pain but my foot just feels ****** up where ive been stung. Luckly I havnt swealed up like when Smithers gets stung on the Simpsons which is a good thing.

That wasp has now sealed the fate of every wasp I ever see now, even if I have to run after a wasp for an hour Ill kill 'em. All of 'em.

Rant over.

LOL I've been stung so many times, i also fell into a huge bunch of nettles with just shorts at like 8yo

Pain f.t.w!

same happened to me..

i'd never before been stung by a bee or wasp or scorpion etc etc.. until one day when i was coming home on my motorbike. i felt something hit my jacket but thought nothing of it, turns out it had crawled down my neck, into my t-shirt and i could feel it stinging up and down my back. needless to say i jammed the brakes on and jumped off my bike pretty much dropping it on the floor. threw my lid off and jacket + shirt just to get the wasp out. all this was in the middle of the road. god i was embarassed!

Still a virgin when it comes to being stung, hopefully it'll stay that way. Almost 22 and going strong!

I seem to be imune to nettles after I did a similar thing when I crashed my bike in a huge bush wearing only shorts when I was like 6.

But this is just highly annyoing.

I thought I was going to be a lucky one.

What I have done to deserve this?

**thinks back to thrusday...hmm maybe thats why ;) **

:p

I'm 27 this month, and have yet to be stung.:)

i got stung once on a moped in corfu... was travelling along and something hit my girlfriend in the chest and bounced off down into the neck of my t-shirt. cue a bite, me slamming the anchors on and ripping off my t-shirt in the middle of a mountain road and then a big black thing like a moth but a bit bigger, flew out of my t-shirt. instantly a lump about an inch in width and 1cm in depth popped up. being in the middle of nowhere we had no choice but to carry on to corfu town (from sidari on 50cc scooter - hard core :D ) and when we got there i had to get her to check it constantly but it went down pretty quick so we left it at that. christ knows what it was though... much bigger than a wasp or a bee, and it was a like a moth but about twice the body size of a normal UK moth.

freaked me out though. :o

lol, what is the fascination with posting a thread in full detail when you get stung by a bee or wasp?

Our old dog was stung on the end of his toungue (as he used to chase after bees a lot) when he was about 2 years old and went into some sort of shock.

He lay down and started shaking - so I had to do my emergency vet bit and open his mouth and pull the stinger out with tweezers - which was still logged on the tip of his tongue. He came round about 30mins later, but then had a morbid fear of anything that buzzed for the remainder of his doggy years :p
