This has worked for me. Instructions from EA are as follows but tweaked so they make real sense -

1. Go to skate.share.ea.com and login using the same e-mail address that is associated with your gamertag.
2. Click on the e-mail address which is now displayed in the upper right-hand portion of your screen.
3. Choose the My Account option from the drop down menu.
4. Click on the Personas link located on the left hand side of the screen.
5. If you see a persona name that indicates that it is an EA Classic Screen Name after it then skip to step 10.
6. If you do not have an EA Classic Screen Name associated with this account then you'll need to either create one or link an existing one.
7. If you have an EA.com account that you've used previously and that was created using this same e-mail address then you can use the Link an existing persona option to attach that account to this account that uses your e-mail address. To do this select EA Classic Screen Name from the drop down menu that appears on the link accounts page.
8. Input the EA account name and password for the EA account that you wish to link to this account then skip to step 10.
9. If you don't have a previously existing EA.com account then you'll want to select the Create a Persona option from the EA Account Manager screen.
10. From the drop-down menu select the EA Classic Screen Name option. Enter your desired screen name along with a password for this EA classic screen name.
11. Now that you've got an EA Classic screen name associated with your account we can continue with linking your gamertag to this screen name at the Gamertag/EA Account Link website.
12. This will generate an e-mail to be sent to your e-mail address. Follow the instructions contained within that e-mail to finalize the linking of your gamertag. When you are prompted for an account name and password you'll want to use the EA Classic Screen Name as your account name along with the password for that screen name.
13. Once that is complete you will then be able to login at the Skate Reel website to view your uploaded video.
Note: The Skate Reel site is currently in beta and may not always be accessible. We suggest if this site is not available to try back at a later time.

As said, this worked for me and i can now access the site. Post back if it works or not
 
I got the same thing back from EA support, alas it doesn't bleeding work as I already have an EA account with both a classic account name and my 360 GT. It just doesn't work for me.

I really have my 360 sometimes...

Just spent the past 4 hours or so playing Skate... I finally did the Mega Ramp gold, did all the death races (found them quite easy tbh, none of them took more than 3 attempts), got skater of the year... finished all but two videos. Beat The Mega Compound, unlocked Dem-Bones as a playable character... Got the 'You've done everything there is to do in skate' message and talk from the camera dude... Meaning I've completely finished the main storylines (X-Games, Thrasher and Skateboard Mag)


And guess what happens...

*FREEZE*

reset the console, my achievements are there... reload the game... and I've lost 4 hours of gaming :mad:

I just redid the Mega Ramp after two attempts...
I'll have to redo Thrasher and the Mega Compound tomorrow :-/

Has anyone got the same problem as me?

I put in my Gamertag into the add a persona thing then it does nothing. Doesnt add my GT.

Bit annoying as this is all the stops me from doing videos!

I really want to like this game (demo) but I'm finding the controls so frustrating, especially having to do grinds. Do you have to stick with it long to get use to the controls or is there no hope for me? Even the demo trials after the tutorial are hard for me. It's strange I never have problems with controls on most games but this one is doing my head in! I love the other aspects of the demo though :)

I found it clicked pretty much straight away for me. Not sure how others feel. Grinds are dead easy though, what problem are you having with them?
