I've thought of that but having the conversation itself will make things a bit too serious.

I basically don't want to go out with anyone from work. But this girl is really nice..

At the end of the day if you don't try and pursue it with the girl you actually like, there will always be a "what if........". I've never had one of these but friends have and hate thinking it.

the texts and conversations i've been having with girl from work suggest that what happened last week won't be a one off thing. Some dirty comments indeed.

If she wasn't a workmate I'd be over the moon. But the fact she is makes things terribly complicated as pointed out. People at work talking, rumours, awkwardness, and then if it all goes sour people taking sides and feeling awkward about going to the office a place i must go to everyday of my life for the next few years!

Also not sure if there's a policy about dating workmates.

I think i will mention the date again to the work girl, as casually as possible, and see what she says. Thing is i don't think we should go out for above reasons.
