Poor thing, it's been going round the school so I'm guessing he caught it from there but I'm amazed one of the other two didn't bring it home first. His spots are crusting over and some have gone now thankfully. He's been quite miserable with it though and to make matters worse he's getting another tooth. First one at the top, he has two bottom ones already.

He's not even 9 months for another few days, no doubt the other two will catch it too and probably just in time for half term :(

Aww bless.

My daughter got it on her 1st birthday. She looks dreadful on the pics! She was covered in them head to toe and even had them under her hair! My son was 4 at the time and he got it too but only had one spot on his forehead!

My youngest hasn't had it yet so we're just waiting!

It's weird, as my sister and brother had chicken pox REALLY badly, and it barely affected me.

Apparently I was seriously affected by the measles though....

Strange.

Hope your little'un gets well soon!

I got chicken pox at 35!! Never felt so crap in all my life!! The spots were really bad and I tried to not scratch them but you just have too. Hope it doesn't lead to shingles in later life.

Youll get them when ** older and itll be more embarrasing :O

I guess so. That is why they tried to get me with anything/anyone that had them at the time, just didnt work. :(

My two eldest had it at around the same time, Charlie was 3 (he was 6 today) and Freya was 1, they got about three spots each:)

Just waiting for Dan to get it now he's one and a half.

I remember getting it as a kid at the same time as my sister and it seemed like a nightmare, they just don't make pox like they used to:D

Hehe. Oddly only his legs and bottom half was covered, the top half had hardly any spots on  I love the name Freya, that or Kayleigh would have been our name had he been a girl. :)

Why does anybody other than yourself care about this?

And actually the thread title said it all so why did you feel the need to be so nasty? I just don't get people like you in the slightest.

Because its General Discussion ?

People might want to share their own experiances with kids and chicken pox.

If you don't care then don't post. Simple isn't it? Maybe some people actually do care, wow surprise.

Because it dosen't matter? Why would I want to come into GD and not want to click on anything? It's a thread where you think "oh right", complete and utter waste of a URL.
