Ethan has chicken pox

How an innocent post like this can cause such harsh replies is beyond me. God knows what I've ever done to some of you. I hope no one ever treats you that way and I hope your proud of yourself for making me cry.

If I ever tell 1000 people that one of my kids has got chicken pox and two of them say "so what?", I reckon I might just be able to handle it while thinking to myself "Why on earth did I tell them that?"

This isn't serious, its not a new strain of the ebola virus, one of the kids has come home preganant or run away from home at aged 3 months.

Oh for gods sake shut up!
If you didnt want to read the thread nobody made you. I hope none of your kids is ever sick and you have to worry about them

Maybe the fact that he was lucky to be alive after my waters broke at 22 weeks means I'm upset to see him ill. Ffs. I saw what you posted before you edited too.

Yes, I'll repost it if you like, I said

"It's chicken pox, sweet baby jesus, it's not like the childs been diagnosed with Ebola"

Then I spotted the post above mine mentioning Ebola which had already made my point.,

You edited that quickly.

Yes it's your opinion, but a pointless one at that. You're not adding anything to the thread, just crapping it. Seems a lot more bother than simply backing out of the thread.

Hitting back on your browser, back space or the back button on your mouse will all achieve the same thing, you should try it some day. :)

Yes, becsaue the first thing I would do when my child is sick is run to a forum about Computer technology.

a thread about how to disable pointless loggin on AD is more interesting then this thread.

I haven't got the slightest clue what you're talking about but I do know about Chicken POTS because I have children and I also know about shingles which is something all adults should be concerned with.

It's a thread in GD about general life problems. So yes I think this thread has a place here. A lot more than 80% of other threads. But guess what If I don't like a thread I click the back button. Not insult people and generally be harsh.

General life problems? it general discussion - what happened to those relationship threads again? ;)

She's not asking for help, it's just support and general talking. Not every thread has to have a "solution".

as this forum has so much to do with computing. If you haven't noticed this forum (life section at least) moved away from computing years ago. It's hardly running, Jodie hardly came running and shouting going OMGZ what shall I do. What's so hard about hitting the back button? or perhaps your trolling, looking for people to bite.

So you still understood what I was saying the first time you quoted it, and now feel the need to pickup on my grammar, keep up.

Well I've been using this forum since 2001 and went through a lot on here with people including the birth of all of my children and losing 5 of them so, actually, some people will be interested.

If you read my op you'd see this isn't the first thing I did either, it's a post I made while I was here.

I hope every post you make is interesting to everyone in the future, we'll see won't we.

Someone might have some good tips to give on what they did when their child had it, and as its a very common thing (pretty much everyone I know has had it) then she might find out what helped other people when their kids had it.
Like I said dont click on the thread in the first place, and I also dont see why your continuing on with this as well, unless your intention in the first place was to just come on here and upset people. Well done, you succeeded, now off you pop.

At least some small good will come of it; Ethan will be immunised for life now and it's in a situation where once it's passed he will have no recollection of it and won't suffer it at an older age where it's known to be more excrutiating. Think of it as a blessing in disguise if you can.

Muffin: if you have nothing nice to say then don't say anything at all.

Really off topic here, but I just wanted to say I cant even begin to imagine how hard that must have been for you, and im really sorry. Small consolation im sure, especially with the couple of muppets in this thread tonight.
