Just fitted this:

Steeringwheel1.jpg

Ebay special, but does the job :D

Not to everyones taste I know, but I like it and it really suits the wheels on the car and the red detailing, as you can see in this pic:

Steeringwheel2.jpg

I have an aluminium gearknob with red detailing on the way too.

Looks aside, the main reason was because I wanted to ditch the huge bus-like standard wheel. It's amazing the difference a smaller wheel makes, the steering just feels more precise, with more feedback. It just makes the car feel more go-kart like

Oh, and I'm booking it in to have the paint done next week, and there will be more toys coming very soon ;)

I like it - think it's a nicely tarted up job :) It's hard to add personality and colour to a car without making it look 'chavved up' - but you've done well here!

Nice one DreXeL! Looks smart! I agree with what you say about a smaller wheel. I drove a mates car that has a Momo Race wheel and wow, it just felt awesome... not to mention look smart as hell.

Might get one for Christmas :D

Looks orange :D very nice, obviously there for function over form. What toys you got planned?

Yeah it does look orange in the pics, but IRL the red is a pretty good match for the other details.

Toys wise: coilovers, brakes, and some carbony goodness :D

More importantly though, can you play space invaders on that headunit? :p

:D

JDM double-din goodness, y0.

Looks allot like the steering wheel in my Fiat Coupe, nice, not sure it suits the car though, seems a bit loud, especially with the silver in the middle.

Your slowly starting to ruin that integra imho

Just LOL. Massive bodykits, dodgy paintjobs, and 20" chrome spinners are things that ruin cars.

16" lightweight wheels, uprated antiroll bars and strutbraces, cold air intake, some easily removed decals and a steering wheel don't 'ruin' a car. The visual mods may not be to your taste, but to say the car is being 'ruined' is way off the mark. Also, the planned mods of better brakes, coilvers and lighter carbon bodyplanels are not exactly going to 'ruin' it are they?

We need a ban on Integra threads whilst mine is off the road, i'd managed to convince myself I could live without VTEC over the winter, but i've got the use of a friends ATR today and it's just making me feel worse :(

On a slight aside: Accord type R = awesome dual personality car. It does motorways as well as it does B roads.

30bhp to be exact ;)

Whislt you're in here, did you take a look at the pics I posted in my other thread? I think you'll like one or two of the cars ;)

I have to say its not to my taste, the silver doesn't tie in well imho, would have been better if it was black, but then again i'm all for OEM steering wheels, so i would say that :)

The steering feel is so much better with a smaller aftermarket steering wheel though, that alone makes it worth the change. The looks of the thing are of secondary importance. Besides, the silver will fit in better when I fit the knob.

I must agree. My Dolomite is so much better after getting my Mountney wheel instead of the standard one. For a start it is a smaller diameter plus the wheel itself is thicker so you can hold it in your hands better. Its worth the extra effort needed for parking. :D Just sometimes need 2 hands to turn it at a decent pace when manuvouring.

It looks gash if you ask me. You have totally and utterly ruined that car :(

Well, alright, it looks pretty good, really ;):D

girlfriend's got one of those wheels (albeit a ralliart badged one) in her FTO. just watch where the black vinyl folds over and into the crease by the red stuff it will start coming out and is really annoying.
