hi ive had my machine a few months now i have a 600 watt espilion psu is this powerful enough for my rig.?

q6600
8800 gtx
2x hard drives
2x 120mm case fans
pci fan
antec case cooler fan connected to mobo
2 hard drive coolers

Ditto, it's not worth it if it dies and takes anything else with it, the PSU should be top of the list for importance but it is very often overlooked, stick with Xion/Tagan/Thermaltake/Akasa/Antec/OCZ/Corsair, shouldn't cost you too much for a 700W ish.

Well the PSU is made by FSP and seems to be crossfire certified and the certification is quite tight. I don't know what it will be like in the long term but it should run a GTX fine until you're ready to upgrade. 4x 15A 12v rails

Further:

FSP Group is a power supply manufacturer, and as any genuinely competent and experienced PC professional will attest, FSP Group is a PSU manufacturer which has stood the test of time, continuing to develop and deliver products which can be relied upon in even mission critical environments.

Although primarily an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for household name system integrators and a great many of the very well known system chassis manufacturers, in very recent times FSP has chosen to make efforts to respond to market changes in the retail sector; this by introducing various products aimed at PC enthusiasts, and from recollection has included at least one which 'featured' the kind of (increasingly pass¨¦) illumination that's appeared on some of the cheap, nasty and unreliable products of companies, perhaps perceived by an often unwitting audience, as its competitors.

However, one thing FSP seems not to have done, is compromise on the fundamental quality and functionality of the product itself.

In an increasingly price sensitive market, this, it would seem, has been a challenge for FSP, and perhaps understandably so.

thanks for taking the time to write this long paragraph Thank You

You'll be fine! FSP's are pretty bulletproof and the GTX isn't monstrously hungry. Seen them on 500 watt PSU's with no problems!

I ran mine overclocked with an e6600 @ 3.3ghz on a 580 watt tagan before i upgraded. :)

No problems....

The long paragraph was a cut and paste, I can't post a link as the site has a lot of competitor advertising but there a few reviews of your unit about.

Enjoy your GTX
