Whats the current general law on Marjiuana in the uk?

Your pretty much OK if its for personal consumption (and so long as you don't have it divided up in different bags haha) .

C
14 for dealing iirc
Just smoke it somewhere away from people
Anything above an 8th can be seen as dealing afaik

Surely to possess it is to have been dealt it. Which is ilegal is it not? Prime example of the retarded state of some of our laws.

Ok thanks, just curious about it.

And mancubas thats a little ott isnt it? Alchohol and tobacco are a lot worse than pot imo.

Really? I had an 1/4 on me when I got stopped. They just confiscated it.. no caution or anything. Could have just been lucky I guess.

so the 91 in your name is your year of birth... and you're asking about the legalities of weed.... worrying about the implications...

*puts it all together*

OMG, you want to smoke weed you rebel!

look, I have smoked weed a few times, I know loads of people that have and they are fine. IMO it's not that bad if you try it, it's heavy use that's bad from what I've seen.

btw, drugs are bad mmmk.

yes i am 16, no i dont want to smoke weed at ths minute lol, im just curious thats all.

You could grow it? I'm not sure on the laws on that though.

Cultivating cannabis plants is illegal in this country. It is tolerated in some other countries' cities, eg amsterdam, some states in Australia but not here yet and i don't think it ever will be.

At the moment there is a lot of pressure on the government to reclassify it to class B. It's a difficult area because there are lots of different strengths of cannabis; cheap naff stuff that just makes you feel a bit relaxed and other types, eg skunk grown hydroponically, that can impair your senses quite dramatically, even being monged out the next day. You can spot tokers quite easily at work!!

Cannabis psychosis is not that common but a friend of mine has gone through this and it's not pleasant. He was taking a variety of other drugs on top of this though - amphetamines, ecstacy, ketamine (horse tranquiliser!), cocaine that all contributed to his mental state and his 6 month stay in a psychiatric ward.

But if someone has a underlying mental problem or susceptibility smoking weed could trigger this.

Moderation is fine with alcohol, but weed is loads different.

I disagree. If the problem is underlying then *again* moderation is the key. If the problem is apparent then ofc it's best to steer clear of mind altering substances. After-all, we're talking about 'normal' people, for one to have an unknown 'underlying' problem would put one firmly in the category of 'normal' (because ofc the problem would be as yet unknown).
