can you type a whole sentence without lookng?

well can you? type a whole sentence with out looking at keys.or do you spend a week looking for keys?
 
I assume you mean without looking at the keyboard, yes? In which case, yes I can. Any good touch typist should be able to, and while I don't qualify (I did do a Pitman course many years ago, but use very little of what I learned), I am partially sighted so it's a bit of a 'must have' skill for me. :)
 
Yep not the fastest in the world, but been typing for about 27 years. No need to look at keyboard. I have one of those Microsoft Natural keyboards at work and a Saitek gaming one at home, but have no problem shifting between the two. There didn't look at keyboard once during typing this.
 
Yes I can, this post is typed in such a way! However, can you make a completely inane thread without looking at the keyboard?
 
As long as I can see the screen then i am fine, sometimes i don't even need to see the screen. Like this paragraph, I look over at the TV to watch the news at bits of it and it all comes out fine.
 
Yes of course I can, I spend enough time at a keyboard so it'd be pretty sad if I couldn't.
 
yes, very easy, infact half the time im sat in the office and someone comes to the door and i carry on typing whilst talking to them (looking at them at the same time) it always amazes my dad when i do it but seems natural to me now
 
is it ultimately something to be proud of, or something that says we have spent far too much time on MSN when we were younger?
 
Yea, I don't look at the keyboard at all when typing, just get used to it. I think it's because of gaming using keyboards, and just being a bit of a nerd.

Its just like playing an instrument really, you know where to put your fingers and when without looking. If you are proud of being able to play an instrument I dont see why you cant be proud of touch typing.
 
This post will be more of a test than anything else. So far, so good although it is taking me a while.
Perhaps I naturally look at the keyboard on certain letters and phrases but it's barely noticable. That said, I didn't look at the keyboard once while typing this so I'm faily please by that!
