Hello everyone,
I've given up on the idea of a van/4x4 (previous thread a while ago), so....
I've found a lovely 2004 Mondeo Zetec S 2.5 V6, which I am going to go have a look at on the weekend. Just a few questions for the Mondeo experts on here.
How is the engine maintanence wise? Any known issues? How are servicing costs compared to a run of the mill 2.0?
I'm not too bothered about the mpg figures (Parkers has it at 28, I assume combined cycle), so more out of curiousity, how does it do on motorway/out of town driving?
Anything in specific I should be looking at when inspecting it? The car has under 40,000 miles and has had two previous owners.
Any other comments?
Thanks ahead of time!

. Servicing is fairly average and there's no cambelt to change. Last service on mine ('major' one, plugs, filters etc.) was £300 at my local independent but also included a MOT, front ARB droplinks and new handbrake cables.
