New Terminator film in 2009

As much as I like Vin Diesel in the Riddick films, I cannot see him playing a Terminator, just doesn't seem right. Then again he may play it perfectly, assuming they get him for the part.

Well the last one wasn't great, I can't see this one being any better tbh.

Continuation for the sake of it rather than a story needing told?

Vin Diesel = the end of Terminator, oh dear.

Amen to that.

Ladies and Gentlemen, may I call to your attention exhibit "A". The wooden and dreary acting performance in "Fast and the Furious".

Once you are done feeling nauseous, please cast your eyes upon exhibit "B" - "XXX". The Bond wannabe steaming pile of excrement destined for the 99p bargain bin, and basis for those tacky CD clocks the world over.

In closing, I believe the this case speaks for itself. Vin Diesel should be banned from acting in public ever again, in fact the prosecution moves for a total ban on acting and public appearance. :D

i would normally agree with that statement, but what if they get "the rock" for T4!!!!!!!

I think the rock would play a better terminator, as long as he doesn't say a single word or make any facial expressions or act.

Hmmm, can't find that either...

One thing I did find is that the film's writer - John Brancato was "responsible" for "The Net 2.0". :( Oh dear.

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0104336/

2.0, what were they thinking with that sequel title? A) Anyone with half a smart in the tech world would steer clear of that title for fear or cringingly bad computer based scenes that serve to do nothing but make the public look like techno-idiots B) Anyone without half a smart would most likely start dribbling.

Lame lame lame.

John Brancato, you're doing it wrong.

However you could look at his excellent performances in the Riddick films and Boiler Room.
