Going back to PC from Mac

Due to extremely homosexual circumstances, I may be forced to go back to my old laptop.....a PC :eek:

I have become ever so attached to Macswell and really do NOT want to go back!

Has anyone actually gone back to PC from mac?
 
I did.. I used my money to buy a top end gaming rig.

It was good at first, but then the little crashes etc got the better of me and I ended up selling it for a Mac :)
 
Not gone back per sé, but, I use a PC in college and at home for games.

I don't think I could go back to full PC though.
 
I tend to have to have a small partition (30GB) with XP on for using the occasional Windows only app (for university mainly) and gaming - but I don't think I would go back really, I loves me mac!

cool, il maybe give it a try. I had bootcamp installed before and I really dont like putting windows anywhere near it but might be tempted to give it a go now!

First day of Uni i was getting quietly frustrated and wanted to throw the thing out the window.

So slowwww! Its not even a old PC.

You'd be surprised to find that the X1600 tops the 8600 on quiet a few games, mainly DirectX 9 games like Unreal, i had a graph somewhere ill try and find it.

yeah thats interesting... i haven't tried any games on MBP yet I have to say but I'm definitely going to give it a try. What I really would like is a Mac Pro with something like a GeForce 8800GTX in it - that would be sweet!
 
I would love to play CS:S on my MBP, but I can't bring myself to install Windows.

Not because I have anything against it, but on a laptop, hard drive space is a precious commodity!

The smart ******* here decided to plonk some 3GHz Xeon's in dell's with 1gb of ram. :(

And, of course, 50% grey looks nothing like grey...

You could always buy one of those 10,000rpm, 2TB HDD 2.5" SATA laptop drives that just come out?

Only joking they don't exist...:(
