I was going to post the same :p but I figured he would be using it for VLC and a media center / bluray and I was right.

Yeah straight to the point as always :D

I was telling Andy last night I keep thinking of buying one. I will just use it for F1 games though and the odd blu ray. When Singstar comes out for it though I will get pressure from the wife to buy one.

May as well wait and make out its a prezzie for her.

I need to get another one at some point but I'm going to wait until I have a new TV first to get the most out of the Blurayness. My main TV in the living room is pap :(

And McDaniel, please try the wheel on PGR4 and let me know what it's like you big hunk of love.

There's only one F1 game on it, all the others will come to Xbox360 too as EA have purchased the license to it. However, the one on the PS3 by SCEE Liverpool is very good, though I wouldn't deem it worthy of a console purchase.

I would say it definitely makes it more 'fun', however, it also makes it more difficult. It's all about deciding which is best for you at any time.

The wheel deffo takes some getting used to...it's just so different to the controller that yo almost have to re-learn driving games. Once you get it right and with the correct levels of force feedback set, it's awesome.

mmm, I would've thought it would've made it easier. May try and pick one up second-hand.

You can go full-lock left to full-lock right in a split second on a pad, you can't on a wheel, so correcting little changes becomes a lot easier and quicker on a pad. Doing that lots of time per lap saves you a lot of time.

Fair point. I suppose I was thinking off the sweeping turns or long corners. On the pad I find it difficult to get the stick consistently to the same point where as a wheel would be easier. But given that I've not got one that's me making assumptions
