What does Mubarak translate to in Arabic ? I am curious as the Egyptian President has that name.

The translation of "Eid Mubarak" is "Have a blessed holiday."

Well it is a pretty big feast and time of the year for Muslims after Ramadan. it's pretty tough going fasting during the hours of daylight. I love Eid al-Fitr parties

It basically means "happy or enjoy blessed festival" - or something along those lines (my arabic is a bit sketchy

most people ni brum are doing it Saturday, works out well

a few are doing Friday.

so far so good, i have kept all the fasts, one left

anyone here planning on going to Bham central mosque?

. Hope all the muslims on here have a great one and stuff their faces full of food

. Kept all of them this yr and managed to really cut down on my smoking as well so im quite proud of myself tbh.

Hopefully ill be getting some money or more like im the one who will be giving it out this yr
