Can I play against a PS2 if I buy a PSP or 360 (Fifa etc)

It might be a bit of a silly question but I'm stuck in hospital for a couple of weeks so was thinking of either getting a PSP to keep me going.. or maybe just wait and get a 360 when I get out. My brother-in-law has a PS2 and has 07 and 08 I think, can you play across platforms etc?

No, you can't game across platforms, certainly not with Xbox360 against PS2. I would recommend waiting and getting an Xbox360 personally, it has better games. But if you really need something to keep you going then a PSP and Daxter is pretty good.

Lol, I was seriously tempted - saved £150 this month petrol for work... hmmm....

Not sure I can justify it to myself though

It would be v.easy to ask my bro to pick up a PSP on his way down to visit me on the weekend, not sure it would get used much when I got out though..
