A judo gi works well for that.
If you can pick up an issue of Empire Magazine or Total Film (Not sure if the latter is still in publication) there are quite a few traders in the back pages of film props and memorabilia

Just go to a fancy dress shop and ask. That is where I got mine from (for a uni fancy dress party. I don't wear it all the time, honest)
