Be There - the best ISP just got better

No it doesn't help at all, it fact the complete opposite. Every modern browser (even those on a mobile phone) can word wrap, however the two extra carraige returns you put into each line of your post will mean that two unnecessary lines of display will be used up on a device with a smaller screen.

ok i get the point no need to post it 3 times already ;)

What about the DG834GT ?

Note: When I compared my DG834GT to the BeBox, the BeBox gave better pings. The Netgear was about 35ms to clarity.jolt.co.uk, and the BeBox was about 29ms...

My main reason for returning to the BeBox was that's it's wireless was far far better than my Netgears, which was probably going bad TBH!

Yeah, if they're their own 'LLU', i predict you'll be able to get it in what, 2-3 exchanges? :D
They're using Be's services. Hence the identical service plans, and identical service plan names. Only difference would be Ceberus would do their own tech support.

Yep, got the email as well and think this is good news. Saving £6 a month.

Tempted to go Pro and get the higher upload for £2 less than I'm paying now but want to see more people with similar stats to try and gage how much d/l speed I would lose. The extra upload would be handy for work.

Modulation: G.992.5 Annex A
Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 1,105 / 13,923
Data Transferred (Sent/Received) [MB/GB]: 322.71 / 7.61
Output Power (Up/Down) [dBm]: 12.0 / 19.0
Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 11.5 / 25.0
SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 13.0 / 12.0
Vendor ID (Local/Remote): TMMB / BDCM

Any one here use DMT tool for messing with their SNR?

Also BE's DNS servers are a bit flaky atm so I've pointed my box to use openDNS' servers and general web browsing is a lot snappier now.

Are they? Are you sure about that?
Not 100% sure, but they have said they use the LLU services of a 3rd party, and it's a little convenient they call their 3 plans 'Value', 'Unlimited' and 'Pro' and each offer exactly the same as the 3 plans Be offer called 'Value', 'Unlimited' and 'Pro'.

I doubt it's a coincidence.

EDIT: Checked a phone number on an exchange that only had one ADSL2+ provider (Be to see if it was do-able there and Cerberus say 'yes'.

http://www.samknows.com/broadband/exchange.php?ecode=SWCJ

Afaik, CPW & AOL don't do ADSL2+, so it's got to be Be.
