cheers fo rthe heads up, downloading now. Iv been hoping a demo would come out for this. The 360 is crying out for a decent fighting game, hopefully this will be it. well until the caliber 4 arrives anyway :)

well that was easy, lol, 3 fights finished, must be on super easy setting, lol. Typical sega VF material, looks lovely, plays as you would expect

i found teken far more enjoyable, especially for the price :p

Tekken just lacked depth IMO. It's basically throwing a couple of punches or a couple of kicks and 2 or 3 throws for the most part. As a 3D fighting game Tekken is pretty much the most basic out there. However, as you said, for the price it's brilliant.

Just downloaded and had a shot.

- Far too easy
- Far too slow

+ Nice graphics
+ Seems like the button mashers will have a problem with this one!

Overall I won't be buying this.

To be honest, based on that comment I cannot think you have played the series much. It has a loads of depth and variety of moves throws combos, juggles etc, and this is just talking about the previous gen incarnations (Tekken 1 - 5).

Have you ever played the Tekken games competitively or with a proper arcade stick by any chance. At the Arcades it is the best 3d fighter I have played.

I guess its down to personal choice, but not a basic game by any means.

Edit: In hindsight I may be biased having played all the games in the arcades, on all the playstation ports, and having arcade stick and having played in tournaments :D

I have played and owned all of them bar Tekken 4. I even owned Tekken Tag Tournament :(.
As a big fan of Virtual Fighter I just find the depth of Tekken laughing, but Tekken and Tekken 2 are two of the best experiences I ever had in gaming, but after that it just didn't do it for me.
