Looking for a wired keyboard/mouse set (black) to replace my aging explorer v3 and microsoft internet keyboard.

I would like a keyboard that is quiet to type on, but not the laptop style ones where the keys are all squashed up.

Thanks.

In the same boat here, I just couldn't find a set that I was comfortable with, ether the looks were wrong or the features were wrong.

So I'm just gonna buy separate items, Ive decided on this Dell board for the looks, and its got all the standard keys and should be pretty robust.

Still choosing a mouse, ether a Microsoft 8000, Microsoft natural, or some kind of Logitech.

The Logitech MX3200 looks pretty nice, just a shame that little lcd screen isnt customisable :D

Recently bought myself the Saitek Eclipse keyboard from OCUK - fantastic (fairly quiet) keyboard that lights up which i'd thoroughly recommend

Still in the market for a new mouse myself - let me know how you get on with that bud
:D

Its all personal choice but for me the mouse/mice i would pick are -

Intellimouse 1.1
Intellimouse 3.0

Both really good products and can pick them up for cheap.

Recently up graded and got Saitek Eclipse II Keyboard and Logitech MX518 Mouse combo.

I would recommend both as they are both very nice. IMHO nice keys and pefect mouse.

My pick was an Enermax Aurora keyboard and a Razer Death Adder mouse. I think the Saitek eclipse looks cheap and I hate the trampoline feel of its keys. However, I'm the sort of eccentic who prefers discrete quality to neon lights and bling, so you may dismiss my opinions as being representative of a small minority here.

For general use I'd go for the Logitech Cordless Desktop EX 110. Considering the price the keyboard is solid and very comfortable.

Saitek eclipse version ONE and razer deathadder.

I've always liked the ms explorer mice for their shape, and thus the logica choices for upgrade for me were the habu and the deathadder. I've tried both, and the deathadder just feels much better than the habu, and the habu was a right pain to get working properly too.

I must admit that the eclipse is not the quietest, but i have heard a lot more noiser kb's than quiet ones... (but it does look awesome :D)
