how do you wake up in the morning?

hey there.

How do you wake up in the morning instantly and jump out of bed?
And allso a bigger question for people who exercise in the early morning, how do you get up so early and go for a jog etc?

if i didnt have an alarm for 10am, id never wake up lol.
i woke up at 5am last sunday as i had a endurance motocross race that day and i did allright in the race for my first ever race in the adults class (im 16 next month, should have been 16 to enter really :P)

im wanting to get up every morning and jog around the vallie, but how do you get up so early? what motivates you? or do you just drink some sort of super red-bull to wake up?

(Btw, im home schooled so im not used to getting up early, iv not woken up early unless im racing or somthing, for the past 3 years)
 
You have to want to get up, on days where I have no commitments I'll stay in bed half the day (and work into the night) but when I have lectures I have to force myself out of bed due to the strictness of the course. It's all in your mind, convince yourself that you can do it, then make sure you do it by setting an alarm, do not use snooze. Keep doing this and it becomes routine and gets easier.
 
im a heck of a lot better than i was about 6 months ago, i was living life asif i worked night shifts, i used to sleep at 7am :rolleyes:

alltho getting to beds kinda my problem, aswell as getting up lol, im getting up at 8am today, so thats.. 4 hours of sleep im going to ride my bicycle a lot today too and i gotta fix my front forks on my motorbike, so hopefully ill be so tired ill fall asleep early and get up early next day, cause sunday morning i gotaa be up at 5am to watch motogp on telly :D
 
by the way, when im trying to wake up... well heres my time line:

Alarm is set for 10am...
at 10:30 its still going off because im 100% oblivious to it when im asleep, i cant hear nothing
10:40 its still going off but miraculessly i might hear it and then i fall back to sleep, about 12:30, i wake up naturally and stay in bed till 1:20 by which time im starving because i havent eaten since 6pm night befor, so i get food then watch neighbours on tv lol
 
went to bed at 5ish last night, was up for work at 8ish this morning... only problem is i seemed to have woken up with a steaming hangover, and im stuck at work till 3
 
Through spring, summer and autumn I can happily wake up by leaving the curtains about 8 inches open. The natural light wakes me up slowly and I have no problems gettnig out of bed. I really struggle in winter though and can't justify buying one of those expensive alarm clocks that claim to offer the same effect :/
 
ok disaster, i woke up at 8, had a bowl of cerial in bed and fell back to sleep, my mum woke me up again at 9, fell back to sleep, mum woke me up at 10 and even vacume cleaned my room and yet i slept through that, again was woke up at 11... fell to sleep, got woken up at 12:15 to a sausage sandwich downstairs, so i flew out of bed once i smelt it lol.

i just cant wake up!
 
I wake every morning to the sound of birdsong, rub my eyes elegantly then step from my bed in my satin robe, slipping my feet into fluffy pink mules and heading for the shower leaving a trail of butterflies in my wake as cute cartoon animals follow me about my day.
 
My alarm goes off at 8:30, I straight away get up and turn it off, then turn my computers on and go and have a shower. After that I make a quick cup of tea then back to the computers to start work at 9. I tend not to bother with breakfast.
