Now amsterdam is out the way, well worth visiting. Absolutely great place.
I'm now planning a trip to warsaw at the end of feb, found flights with easy jet £45 return :D.

However where abouts in the city is the night life.

Anything else interesting to do there, other than sample all the vodka?
Anyone stayed in any hotels they could recommend?
Any vodka tours in the vicinity?

Wow booking hotels through the polish websites is uber cheap. Shame I can't understand what it says though

300-400pln whats that £60-70

WHY?

It's cold in the winter in Poland.

This does not sound like any fun whatsoever:(

its going to be below zero i know that lol

Im going with work (RAF) Were off to see the tunnel that the great escape guys did and then we are going a march that POW's had to do at the same time of year, having had only bread and water for months and amonths and wearing only a tshirt and shorts if they were lucky.

Apparently its ment to be really rewarding.

Top Tip !

When the guards say ' Good luck ' DO NOT say ' Thank you. '

Enklawa (good club for dance music)
Organza (bar and club, funk/house)
The Cinnamon Lounge (4am onwards is good)
Sheesha Lounge Club (good bar)

All the above other than Enklawa are all in the same area, Sienkiewicza, with a few other bars.

Most of the Warsaw clubs are a good night out although slowly getting swamped by the stag weekend crowd that kills the atomsphere.

Warszawa for the win! You'll love it i'm sure ;)

I take it you've been, any gun ranges around

Got the area for clubs from GSXRMovistar post, is there any good pubbing districts rather than clubbing, or is it all the same area?

any brewery's/distillerys you can do a tour of. I try and do one every time I go anywhere..

Funny thing that - i've only been about 4/5 times and not ever with mates - usually with family or just when I was too young to care :p

I'm not sure there's somewhere to rival the Heineken Experience (awesome place) but there'll be things to come close !

doesn't matter as long as there's a tour taste and shop.

Nowy Swiat is a nice road/strip full of cafe/bars if you wanting something a little more quiet although not sure how it will be this time of year, but its lovely in the summer.

For more traditional pubs and resturants head down into the old town.

I like Warsaw, but not half as much as I liked Krakow. The "old" part which they rebuilt after the Germans destroyed it in the war is particularly interesting because they did such a great job. Can't really help you on nightlife, but there are lots of places to eat and bars :)

Will try and remember the name of one of the places we ate at one night. We had like a Polish mixed grill type thing between us, and the amount of meat on it was absolutely obsene! Really good atmosphere in there though and it was very nice food. I have some dodgy photos of Leon eating a big sausage, but I think that's best kept off the forums :p

Theres a really nice traditional resturant in the Old town, just off from the main square but I can't remember the name of it. Lots of basic food cooked very well, huge portions and all very cheap. Always busy as well so nice atmosphere.

Whilst you're there try Pierogi + Golonka.
