How do you wake up in the morning?

Got some really thick curtains in my room at uni so the sun doesn't wake me up, and if it's not light in the room it's sooo tempting to just roll over and go back to sleep. I find I now have to literally jump out of bed to wake up, and usually don't properly wake up until i've had some caffeine or a good old bowl of coco pops.

I can get up quite easy now I have settled into my current routine. Alarm at 5.30am, straight out of bed then shower. Leave house at 5.55am and get breakfast on the go.

I just get out of bed and get straight to it. I have so little time before I leave the house I don't have much choice, but I don't mind this and i've got used to it.

Haha, I'm guaranteed to jump of bed when I'm waiting for a shiny new toy :D

LOL. That is just so true isn't it. When you've got to go to work, it's turn over and lie in as long as possible. When you've got a delivery with toys coming, I bounce straight out of bed and eagerly await the mail van. Expecting my PS3 on Monday so I shall be up at the crack of dawn in anticpation.

Too true.. :D

With a smile on my face, laying next to your misses. ;)

I really do struggle to get up on the alarm though, I need more self control. :D

My iMac turns itself on, fires up iTunes and starts blaring out some songs from my alarm clock playlist.

Better than an alarm clock since I don't want to turn it off as much as an annoying beeping. Or I can use the remote to snooze for a little bit.

I had 'Killing in the Name of' by Rage against the machine as my alarm calling when I lived with my parents up until 1999. Nowadays it's just an annoying digital alarm clock that's purposely set to to 1 hour ahead with plenty of snoozes.

i didnt this morning. just didnt hear my alarm, i called in sick.

didnt sleep for neally 40hours at from sat mornin to sunday night

i've been thinking about making an alarm clock with a 10 digit keypad on top, and when the alarm goes off, the display flashes a randomly generated 4 digit code, which must be entered in to turn the alarm off.

I'm actully writing a program to do this for a mates mobile as he has trouble getting up. Seems like it may be useful for a few people.
