You can celebrate Christmas here and our muslim members can celebrate the end of Ramadan. Try and be a little more tolerant. If we cant celebrate christmas, then hell you cant celebrate this, no love from me.

This forum is becoming more and more like a United Colors of Benetton advert.Feel the love.
i thought it all depended on which calendar you followed not where in the country you live?

Man it's just crazy stupid politics where scholars and Imams try to 1up each other buy celebrating it on different days thinking they're right. End of Ramadhan is supposed to subject to sighting of the moon, now you'd think with all the new mathematics and fangled telescopes(and our own eyes) it would be pretty unanimous when there's a new moon but NO. My Bangladeshi friend in the UK(who did it on Friday) phoned me up today and said relatives back home are doing it on Sunday. I mean come on that's a 3 day spread, totally frickin absurd
