*SPOILER* Condom sales in France ...

I like how the argument put forward by most rugby fans is it's better than football because the players are "well hard". Er, yeah.

Ye mate!!

Nah i find it so much more interesting to watch and a lot more respectful than football.

All that football violence is just pointless, mindless chavs beating each other up, the more that die the better i spose =/

I've played rugby and football at school level and I can tell you that only of those teams went out looking for fights. As for crowd violence, I bet you couldn't even name a recent incident involving football fans.

No i couldnt as i dont watch football, but just last night my mate was telling me how he was at chelsea v tottenham a few months ago a few people got stabbed and loads had to go to hospital.

As if, did you see when he handed off Gommersaull? Gommersaull went FLYING!!!

I just wish he'd get his hair cut....oh and shave off that awful beard, how French women can fancy him I dont know.
And you know Cheval means HORSE dont you....can you see Johnny getting away with being called Johnny Horse, and not being a laughing stock :D
That said, I did get a teeny little bit excited at the result, and any time we beat the French at anything is fine by me.

But of the supporters Rugby has fewer 'fans' using it as an excuse to go out and have a fight. Gentleman's sport played by thugs and all that...

Lock yourself in a box or something, its big news and you cannot avoid it. The world cannot pander to you becuase you are unable to watch something on the TV.

you know fox, some of us are unfortunate to have to work during the evening and not know the score, i never knew till after work, nor was i really bothered tbqh so why do you expect everyone to know the score, think before you post drivel like that eh?

LOL

Where did this happen exactly?

I go to football extremely often and I've never seen anyone going to hospital. So next time you and your friend are playing soggy biscuit you'd better pull him up for lying!

Surely spurs last year in UEFA was crowd vs steward violence (though questionable as to who started it) or the Man Utd match in europe? Lets not pretend there hasn't been any violence at football matches in recent history.

And who could forget the terrifying ordeal that Dida went through at the hands of crazed scot - i`m not sure if he will ever recover from that assault :p

The man in question is called Chabal though but true enough cheval does mean horse in French. I still reckon Christophe Lamaison was the best named French rugby player though. :D

Am pretty sure the bloke in the pic at the top of the page is Mr Cheval
But what do I know, im a girl! :p
