£1k is throw away car money. Resale value wouldn't concern me at all.OK if the mileage isnt stated.... its definitely going to be high, especially from a garage. So i would avoid tbh. The engines are good, however anything with 80k plus i would avoid simply for resale value.

(I have never paid over £1k for a car before you think I am some rich person)
The Zetec engines are very reliable if serviced to schedule. The little Fiesta would probably be quite worn inside and out if high mileage though. I mean the seats, stone chips etc.
very true. however my first 1.25 fez was bought with resale value in mind, and over the 18months i owned it i lost about £50 on it.... however thats just my way of thinking, these cars are sought after in terms of first cars and therefore they seem to hold their value quite well if you buy right in the first place.
Camelot, its purple yes, actually called 'Samakand' to be specific, not the greatest colour no, but quite a nice metallic once polished and waxed.
Glad you like the last one! its very nice indeed and like i said, will be hard to beat! i would have loved that as a first car! however it wont hang around for long at that price and it wouldnt surprise me if it hasnt already been sold... thats an example of what you can get for your money if you look around tho.![]()
the body your on about is the mk4 fiesta... they didnt come with 1.1s so not sure what your on about?
Go with a Fiesta mate. Much better car than the puma!
It seems fair. I wouldn't worry about the mileage too much, as its your first car, you won't keep it too long i'd have thought. No idea how the 1.4 drives but the 1.7 is great!
Everyone is different, I kept mine a year, and got my second car back in March (Fiesta) and already want to change again!
