Newcastle Meet 08 ~ May 9th - 11th

There seems to have been a lot of interest in this so I thought I'd finally get around to getting some names and making a general plan :) It has been a roaring success in previous years so I really hope people can make this one just as good!

The plan!

Plan for the Friday

The Union Rooms, opposite Central Station from 7pm - come one, come all! Casual evening for a few drinks as and when people arrive.

Plan for the Saturday

We shall meet in town and people can choose what they'd like to do. Traditionally a lot of us go drinking in the beer gardens of Jesmond while others do a bit of shopping, but this can be finalised nearer the time.

In the evening we can either meet for a meal (deposits would need to be taken beforehand) or seperate for food before cocktails, beer and muchos dancing!

Plan for the Sunday

Again this is open to suggestion but I think we'll either go down the Quayside for a bit of lunch or go to the metrocentre for bowling etc.

Laurio and myself should be able to make it, if you can put us down for maybes for now on the Saturday evening. I'll confirm with Laurio tomorrow and update accordingly :) I'm also sure it's Laurio's turn to drive... :p

I'm a waitress for the brewers fayre chain which is run by the same company as travel inns, I get different percentage of discount depending on the travel inn I go to, however I dont get my discount card for either 3 or 6 months, but it'd still be here in time for may, but I've only just turned 16 :/
 
Put me down as a maybe. I've read about previous meets and they always seem like a good laugh.
 
Put me down for definite, I can get discount for myself at Holiday Inn, the company I work for have an account with them for conference rooms etc.

I can also take people from ~Birmingham area with me in the car :)
