New Cooler for X1900XT

also if you not game anymore, looking underclocking then gfx card. or better yet if your not into gaming, sell the card why you can still get some good money for it and get yourself a real low power consuming gfx card which has lots of features like hd video decoding etc.

I've bought two of those S1's for 1900/1900 crossfire. Seem too run slightly warmer than a Zalman VF900 passive (48 comared to 41) however I'll be placing a fan to blow front to back over the S1.

In SLI/Crossfire all slots are used up more or less, the space left for PCI will result in them being right next to the heatsinks. I'll take a photo once I fit the second 1900/S1.

what are the load temps you get? idle temps mean squat.

Just brought an Artic Cooling Accelero for my X1800XT - haven't checked temps yet but it is a damn sight quieter than stock cooler!

Ok running game now with ATI tray tools. Was running passive, around 70 degrees, fitted a 12cm fan just in front of the videocard (PCI-E cable) pointing to the back of the case, now 64 degrees max.

I'm getting around 77 degrees with it playing on Need For Speed Most Wanted, gonna mount a 120mm fan at 7v under it to help a touch.

Its a great cooler though!
