Trans fat - should be banned?

Do you know that for a fact? Have you tried to get referred on the NHS? Do you know how hard it is?

It's easy to get referred. A few of my friends and three people at work have had operation on there knee. All from playing football. Numerous more have had less serious injury's. I'm sure sports injurys cost a lot more than any other type of medical care.

The burden you talk about is red tape and to many managers. Not ill people.

It really isn't easy to get referred, that is from personal experience.

That aside, I agree whole heartedly with your last sentence. That however, seems less likely to change then anything else.

Acidhell I don't see how it can be a short sighted view. If you take 2 chemicals and create a compound they still have the same effect on the system if not exacerbate things and create more problems. A poison is still a poison, if you create a compound from it using another poison do they cancel eachother out. I don't think so

Just like smog, you don't have to pay for it its supplied free to everyone, if you don't like it don't live there.

Free with negated health benefits. Btw do manufacturers use Trans fats in health food products?

P.s. "Fact" Recent Bbc news report: Man refused hip replacement by Nhs because he smokes...."Speculation" 20 years on population of rural village refused health care because of trans fat addiction. There normally isn't smoke without fire....
