Hello all,

I'm looking at purchasing a new suit. I've got 2 already but these cost about £180 each, they look ok, but you can tell they aren't of a decent quality etc and I'm going to splash out!

I'm looking at spending no more than £500 for a Jacket, 2 x trousers for an up to date, high quality, decent branded suit.

But I have know idea where to look! or what brands to look for!

can anyone help?

Thanks :)

To be honest, im sure you can get a fully tailored suit for around that? (at a guess)

That would be the best bet id say.

A fully tailored suit will cost closer to a grand, especially with a decent wool. If you want to go with a reputable tailor, expect to pay a bit more - upwards of £5k for Saville Row suits.

But yes, go to a tailor and tell him how much money you have and what you want. For £500 he'll probably take a suit off the rack and make adjustments to it.

I would check out George by Asda.
Nice one dude, can I get one in the BMW colours? I'd love that, but only providing it has the same high quality feel as a BMW floor mat.

Which reputable tailor do people recommend though? as I need to look for store locations etc.

Yeah I was thinking that.

Question is, where from?

Jump on a bus/train/car, drive to nearest city centre/town centre or retail park, and have a look for yourself! Plenty of suit shops around if you bother to look. Trafford centre has a fair few but your no where near that so thats out of the question.

Well I work in Central London, so any recommendations around there would be good.
