Well i need a new g card (i have an old 6800LE), my first question is if my cpu and psu can handle the graphic card. The second is if worth to buy the 512Mb or the 256 is enough!
AMD 64 3700+ @ 2.7GHZ
1Gig Ram Geil
Asrock 939 Dual Sata2
LCpower black edition (+12v1=16A; +12v2=18A)

ty in advance

That PSU should be fine.

Up to 1280x 1024 the 256MB should be fine & above the 512MB better.

The CPU would be a good match & push the GPU along fine.

well i will follow the advice and buy the 512MB version. But how is the overclock in the card? good? or not very good?

I have th 256meg on 1440 x 900 and its fine. runs UT3 well and MOH:A. As for the people above theres 20,000 less pixals on 1440x900 then 1280x1024 so 256 should still be fine :p

Overclocking X1000 series cards isn't great at all. I only got my X1900XT up to 702Mhz Core and 841Mhz Memory but I couldn't run gaming on that as it was far too flaky. I kept it at 670 - 675 Core and 792Mhz memory for 24/7.
