Hello, After 5 weeks of waiting we have finally got our virgin package installed. this is for my house at university however the inevitable wireless router problems have come true. I can connect to the internet like i am now from the cable router and ethernet lead to a laptop in the front room. This is fine but we want to set up a wireless network using a speedtouch 576. I have tried to connect it like so
cable router --> speedtouch wireless router ------> my pc in the attic.
I get a strong signal but it says that there is a dsl problem. i see this from the speedtouch.lan web address where i am able to configure and tinker some settings.
I think that the problem may lie with the router as there is no dsl cable plugged into it. Have a done something wrong here. I really don't have any experience with cable which doesn't help.
Any input would be great.
