Tarantula owners - been given one, need advice *WARNING - PICS*

Seriously, for those saying "burn it" and "kill it" get a life. You knew what the thread contained, why come into it a **** all over it. It is someones pet.
 
A friend I knew had two.
Two in one tank, but partitioned.
Went on holiday, came back to find one dug under the partition and ate the other.
Poor thing :(

I also ran like a girl when it was let out, i'm sure it had a thing for me. I did not realise they could be so fast.

Im very tempted, but it will probably inject some death poison into me and ill turn into a spider :eek:

Exactly what I thought when seeing the responses on here. Well said.

Looks a lovely spider, I'd personally call him Dave, as 'Dave' is universal! :)

Can it swing, from web to web, no it can't, cuz it's a pig.

Is it poisonous? I mean why would you keep a spider that would achualy attack you? What if you went to feed it and it just bit you and then youd be like... bugger and then hyperventalate and pass out then die.... well it could happen.
