Hi, I am in the market for a new PSU and I have just been over to 3DGameMan.com and he is saying that you should have just one 12volt rail for dual graphics set ups. Can someone please explain why this is??

With this answerd could someone please put me in the right direction for a PSU that has 1 single 12volt rail, has loads of amps and is around the 900watt mark. I am building a new PC with a Quad Core, IP35 chipset and Crossfire as i want to use two 2900XT's.

Thank you and I have around £150 to spend on a PSU.

Pukka!! thanks very much for that. 60amps should be more than enough should'nt it? Thats for the 750watt one.
Thats a really good price as well 100 bukkaroos for a 750watt

I would still love to know why I should go with a single Rail over a multi Rail PSU as there are so many good ones on the market!
