Euro Qualifiers 13th & 17th October **Spoilers**

The whole of the central midfield was awful for the 2nd half (I was working for the majority of the 1st )

Bad referee , but thats still no excuse - the quality of the players was streets ahead of the performance

Lescott, Barry, Gerrard and Cole shouldnt have been on the field from what I saw in those 45 minutes

I cant see England qualifying to be honest (Without lucky results for England when other teams play Croatia and Russia)

as a replacement for downing it is not possible - agbonlahor is a striker that is being used in a wide right role. his crossing is too poor right now, but he is one of the best england forwards right now in form.

ashley young, however, would have been a decent option in my opinion to be honest.

though barry did well considering - he is slowly becoming the fulcrum of the side which is made easier for him given his position.

rooney is often praised in the commentary etc for his tracking back and terrior like style - but often he is out of position and isoloated owen; heskey, with his limitation never does that.

would love to see a real tactician in - if we are going to play a dull style we may as well win. jose would minimum get us play a committed game - style can follow.

still think we may qualify by some grace of god however.
 
Georgia playing with a hitherto unseen passion and us with a total lack of enterprise could make this a dissapointing night.

Not true, but, more often than not, I'd say there are at least 4 Scottish players on any side. I think Aberdeen qualified for the UEFA cup with 11 Scots away in Ukraine.

Its out of our hands now. We need to beat croatia and russia need to draw one of there two remaining games.

I think thats about the top and bottom of it..like it now being out of our hands.

Come on mate no one has had any complaints with richards as a CB playing in RB until today. Its not like he's been a CB for long either for Man city is it?

Who was that who moved him to CB, oh Sven. Another fool.

Lescott plays most of his games at LB for Everton until they bought Baines.

He's comfortable enough at LB.

I dont think it's gonna matter whose England manager. English International football is dead. They get fer too much money in the EPL to care and they play at a much much higher level in the champions league and EPL to care.
 
We are out do you honestly think israel aren't going to roll over for russia? especially with abramovic's israeli connections.
I think we should insist on playing all future games on our own "special" pitch from now on and water that so teams can't pass on it.
We dominated them at wembley so maybe it was the pitch it's a disgrace it was allowed.

dire dire england ... tactically Mclown is pathetic , the defense was a calamity which meant we lost the middle third off the pitch as barry/gerrard had to basically become defenders.... as for mourinho as manager sorry we already rely on the long ball

i don't want to be too harsh on them but barry and gerrard didn't really do the defense any favours today.

Missed the England match, will catch it on MotD later. Not even enjoying the Scotland match either. The referee's a ******. Don't like the commentator either... he should stick to Robot Wars.
