Hey all,

Anyone got a Powerball? I was considering it... Are they worth it? Im not sure I entirely understand the concept :p

I love mine!

It takes a while to get used to ( about a day ) And then you can get it going really fast!

Burns your arm up. I've noticed my right arm has grown larger then my left too.

I need to get an rpm counter for mine though xD

They are great fun but be warned use them carefully as the gyro spins very fast, its a great workout even if you are lazy, dont know why but it is addictive and when you get into the scoring system you always feel you want to beat it so you end up doing pushups... etc.

so yes they are worth it, great presents also.

It's great to just mess around with but like Cr0fty said, it proper knackers your arm the first few times you get it goin fast.

I got one of the cheapo ones without an rpm counter and even though they do sell 'em seprately, it's better and cheaper to just get one with on in it.

That's the only reason I can't tell ya my highscore.. because I don't actually know :(o

I tried one of these at a mates - bit tricky to get used to. But, when you get em going they can really make your arm ache - great fun. lol

I'll get one of these and see if my left arm catches up with my right both in size and strength :P

I'd love to get one of these, I'll get it with a build :D

been looking at some videos on the tube of these things and i want one :D think ill order one tommorow will post my score when i get it lol

My youngest daughter broke both wrists snowboarding and the Powerball was brilliant at helping her to build up her forearms when the healing was far enough advanced;)

I always thought vibrating stuff wasn't good for you. Though I'm not sure if this powerball is the same sort of thing.

"The increased hand-arm vibration (HAV) exposure can lead to long term health risks in cluding general witness of fingers and pain and loss of sensation in fingers. These symptoms are generally known as white knuckle syndrome or virbation white finger"

You could build strength but not size no matter what anyone says.

After time you will build muscle with a powerball,It will exercise and strengthen your muscles from the tips of your fingers to your shoulder and up into your neck. Depending on how you use it, you will exercise different muscle groups.
If you want to build muscle go to the gym :D
If you haven`t got time for the gym have a look at this link
