Governor/Actor Arnold Schwarzenegger has signed into effect a new law that will prohibit words like "husband and wife", or "mom and dad" from being spoken or read by both schoolteachers and students.

The bill is part of Schwarzenegger's ongoing battle against traditional heterosexual-based curriculum in an effort to make public schools more gay and trans friendly. Books describing marriage between a man and a woman will be outlawed.

Students will also have the right to use the restrooms of the gender they identify as, regardless of their physical sex. Any disputes towards these students could be considered hate speech under a law already passed by Schwarzenegger in the past.

i refuse to even comment in fear of dignifying this act in the slightest.

this is pretty cool though lol, that's if "restrooms" also includes "changing rooms" ;)

Teacher: "Why were you oogling the girls boobies?"
Pupil: "Cos I'm a GIRL DAMNIT! What? You gonna put some hate upon ME?"
Teacher: ...

Makes sense on one hand, on the other... THEY ARE KIDS

as if they even understand what these things are about...

I'm having trouble finding this on any major news site, and only on random Christian propaganda websites. Unfortunately the Californian State Senate website is down to see if it's actually true.

This is a complete fake, and pretty old as well. The article is dated for the 15th, but I have seen it elsewhere at least two weeks ago.

From what I can tell after a little bit of research into this bill (SB 777) this is a complete non-story (hence the lack of coverage by the big networks) and is just being blown out of the proportion as always, this time by the religious right. Once the California State Senate website is up again so I can look at the actual details on the bill then I'll know for sure but it looks pretty certain that that's the case. Looks like the equivalent of a Daily Mail knee-jerk but in the US.
