I got banned from Members Market for LIFE for advertising a piece of Wii equipment for £35 RRP, back in December 2006, it cost me a lot to acquire it so I sold it on for a profit not a loss.

Members market have those rules in place to stop it becoming a breeding ground for people buying and selling on cheap electrical goods that have been sourced at a cheaper price (i.e. traders) or selling at profits due to limited availability and thus taking advantage of the MM service (that is provided and moderated for free), sure not everyone that has done this is a trader but how do you differentiate between each and every case, its very hard, practically impossible, its much better just to blanket ban it, it helps make the MM a fair place to buy and sell electricals/components, its the reason I love using it, if I want to turn something out for a profit I'll use eBay like I did on the xbox 360 launch (I made quite a handsome sum

), it's a bummer having a life ban on MM and I do feel for you mate as I would be gutted, have you tried writing an apologetic letter to one of the mods, nothings set in stone, we all make mistakes.
