Which Gigabit LAN is the best??

Just recieved my P5k WS motherboard today and was wondering which of the the Gigabit LANs was the better one?

They are:

Marvell Yukon 88E8052 PCI-E ASF

Or

Marvell Yukon 88E8056 PCI-E

from what i heard on these very forums not more than an hour ago, PCI is better for lan cards than PCI-E because it has a lower latency.

Also, surely your mobo has built-in gigabit lan?

Thats is his 2 onboard NICs and both are on the PCI-E bus anyhow

I somehow doubt that either will be significantly better than the other for ordinary use but if you really want to spend a lot of money you could go for a KillerNIC M1. I wouldn't because it sounds a bit like snake oil but y'never know.

It does actually work but not worth the money and only if you play online.
