Can you drink tap water there?
it is an EU requirement that tap water is safe to drink, doens't mean it has to taste good though
Really?? How come you can't drink Spanish water then ?? Not doubting your word just wondering................
Isn't a lot of Spanish tap water desalinated sea water hence it doesn't taste that nice?
You mean in the EU? If you were going backpacking to (off the top of my head) Thailand, China etc.. you'd be very foolish to choose tap water over bottled water. Heck, a lot of the times it's suggested to brush your teeth with bottled water, and of course not get ice in your drinks. You may think it's overkill but at the end of the day our bodies are used to particular things. Change that and you can get quite ill. And when you're away on holiday/travelling etc. it's really not worth the hassle.Tap water is held to EU regulations, bottled water isn't: I'd rather drink local tap water than local bottled water, wherever I was.
As i've just said that's not the point. It's about what your body is used to.believe it or not, the czech republic is not the 3rd world....
