Trading in my 360 stuff for a PS3? How much...

Hi folks.

I'm mildly tempted by a PS3 now the 60Gbs have dropped in price. I can't afford to have that and a 360 though. If I take the following into the video rental store for trade how much would I get towards their 349 quid deal?

Xbox 360 Premium (boxed)
Extra Wired controlller
Guitar Hero 2 boxed with guitar controller.
Gears of War
Saints Row
Dead Rising
Flatout Ultimate Carnage

Would I be better off putting it on members market perhaps?
 
You'd probably get about 250-300 for that lot. But I have to ask; why are you trading that in for a PS3? Are you aware that it's not a particularly good idea right now?
 
Personally I'd keep the 360 unless you have to have Blu-Ray. I own both consoles (and a Wii) and right now the PS3 would be the console I would give up if I had to.
 
I really don't see why you would.....i've got all 3 consoles 360,PS3 ad Wii and the 360 gets all of my attention.

I can't remember the last time i went on the PS3

Just invest in some new games for the 360.

Dont get me wrong, i like the PS3 but i find the games more entertaining on the 360.

Not definitely doing it. Just keeping my options open whilst the regular premium is still worth a similar amount. I understand the connotations don't worry :p
 
Just hang on for another six months or so, fella. Wait until DualShock 3 comes along with MGS4 and GTA IV.
 
Personally I think you would be crazy to get rid of your 360, especially with all the great games on it, along with some fantastic ones coming over the next few months.

I've not touched my PS3 for ages now due to the great catalogue of games the 360 has.

Wait until next year or around Christmas time as this gives you a little bit of time to save some money and then have best of both worlds.
 
Well if you trade it in, please don't make a thread about how disappointed or bored you are with the PS3 like every other guy who traded his 360 in has done. :p
 
I'd save up and buy the PS3 in a few months time so you have the best of both worlds :)
If you're certain though, go for a private sale, you'll get so much more than if you trade it in.

I think i'm the exception to that :p

I'll no doubt be getting another 360 at some point (after xmas) because I have a PS3 and Wii and want all 3, but I prefer my PS3 over my 360.
 
I would keep the Xbox 360 and save up for a PS3 unless you really want blu-ray.
I want a PS3 but I''m not selling my Xbox 360 to buy one.
Currently there are only two games I want to play on the PS3 and I've been tempted since the price drop.
When I bought my 360 there were plenty of good games being released so it was worth it.
I am going to wait for either a bundle deal on the 40GB version or a couple of new exclusive games to be released.
