Would you swap a 330 for a Mondeo ST220

If i needed the cash and could sell a 330 for 15 grand and get a mondeo for 10 grand then id say its a good idea but i dont know prices of either cars, If its not financial related then you must be on drugs... think about the image that both cars give out aswell. ive never seen any nice lass in a mondy, but seen plenty in a ci

Doesn't sound like the greatest swap but like DannyW said if I needed the cash I would, also I'd probably do the swap if the condition on the mondy was much better.

if money wasn't an issue why would anyone buy a 330 over an M3?

if money wasnt an issue, why would they even be looking at an m3?

some people do not want to spend out on an m3, even if they can afford it, they dont want the look and have no need for the speed.

and a 330 is a car you buy if you cant afford an M3?

what a silly comment.

Not at all, the ST220 is a direct competitor to the 330 but is significantly cheaper to buy and cheaper to maintain - it's the car you go for if you don't want to pay the premium on the 330. If you can afford the premium, the 330 is the better car.

Becuase the 330 is a softer package and more suited for long distances than the M3. If you want the out and out performance, why go for an M3 over a 330i? Besides, they don't do an M3 Touring or a 4 door in E46 form.

Yes if for some reason the 330 is about to pop it's clogs in a spectacularly expensive way.

Otherwise, no.

Nope, I would'nt get the ST220. As its been said before, it would feel like a downgrade tbh. Would be cheaper in servicing etc but would'nt be better to drive.

If Ford sold fewer ST220 than Aston Martin sell cars how come I see a ST220 probably daily and rarely an Aston?

Do people treat you differently because you drive a BMW?

I find other drivers are far more aggressive with me when I drive my Dad's new 530-something. For that reason, I'd be reluctant to drive one full time.
