A tattoo should be a little more than what other people like. There are millions of designs.

tatts that have been researched/designed by yourself/ have put a lot of thought in to it by yourself usually turn out to be the better ones.... id get something that means something to you rather than it looking good to some joe buggery you dont know

Just picked my next tattoo. not getting done till march though, since the artist wants to do it at Skin Tech 2008 at manchester.

As pointed out, tattoos are a personal thing, what might be right for one will be hated be some one else.

The best way to think about getting a tat is to think about you! Don't ask others because they'll tell you to get a willy on on your head!!!

had my first tattoo done 3 months ago but it took me at least 6 months to find/design the correct words and design I wanted. If you want a tattoo like everyone else just search flash in Goggle?

your best option is to get a basic idea/theme and take it to a proper tattoo artist and see what they make of it and let them design it
