Just finished Bioshock… [SPOILERS]

Hey guys,

I’ve finally finished Bioshock and I thought I'd share my feelings with you :)

I thought Bioshock was a very good game that was excellent in most places – I paced myself whilst playing because I knew that it could be completed so quickly from what friends had said to me.

I have a couple of post ending questions though that I think you may be able to help me with?

Is the ending I got the same as everyone gets, or are there alternative endings? I was nice throughout the game and rescued every single Little Sister I came across, but what would have happened if I'd have harvested them all or some of them etc.

From what I gather from the ending cut-scene, your character and the LS's make it back to the surface, but the character you played appears to be on some sort of life-support – or is it just old age? I was thinking it might be life-support because of the Big Daddy suit, but I might be wrong :p

Now I can move on to Episode 2 and soon, Crysis hopefully :D

There is another ending if you kill some of the Little Sisters. I say some cos I don't know exactly how many, I went through the game rescuing the majority of the Little Sisters and killing a few and I got the evil ending.(Thought it might be a 50/50 thing) If you cba to play through again you can see the endings on youtube

edit: ah there's 3 endings

i got the bad ending cause i havested all the little sisters....you want to know what it was, don't want to spoil replay value like
they left it wide open for a sequel with the ending i got


EDIT:i believe there are 3 endings for: saving all the little sisters/saving some and havesting some/havesting them all

There are three endings, all of which are viewable on youtube. I got the good ending. There is are two evil endings, one where her voice is angry and the other where her voice is sad.

As for the good ending, i believe the character reaches old age and in his final moments has all the little sisters around him as he doesn't really have a family other than them. Hence the bit where she says "You never really said what you wanted, but now i know. A family"...well something along them lines anyway.
 
the end battle was far too easy and just didn't like the whole cycle of take his health down, take his adam, could have been done better

EDIT: i just don't think it keep in the same style as the rest of the game

Yeah, I agree with that. I was a expecting a bit more of a challenge too?

If you you can kill a boss first time round in a game, then its too easy :p

You can just look in your \2K Games\BioShock\Content\BinkMovies folder and watch them yourself, no need for youtube quality.

The man's a genius ! I should do that with all my PC games :D
 
game endings are always disappointing. all that hard work for a 1 min cut scene. deus ex springs to mind particularly. games with amazing stories seem to have a really lame run-out-of-money style ending :(
 
I harvested most little sisters throughout the game but saved quite a few in the end cuz I had no need for more adams. But had I know that you get a lumpsum of 500 adams as a gift from the woman for every 2/3 LS you saved I would have saved them all...

Needless to say I got the bad ending where the guy became obsessed with powers and invaded the world with splicers.
 
The two bad endings are quite similar aren't they? It's just the tone of voices that's different :)
