i have a question.. if i buy a 2900pro does a 4 Pin to 6 Pin PCI-E Power cable adaptor come in the box, also a 8pin adaptor ?

do i need the 6pin and 8pin connected ? or just the 6pin?
 
Mine came with two 6pin adapters I think. Also the 8pin is only useful for CCC overdrive which is useless any way. Just use ATI Tool and 2x 6pin :).

ok so on the card where do i need to plug the 2 6pin ?

on this picture theres only a 6pin and 8pin sockets..

also how longer are theses cards?
 
The 2nd 6-pin goes into the 8-pin socket leaving the 2-pin on the left empty...

It's not that much longer than the 2600XT.

ohhh thats good its same size as the 2600xt ddr4, 23.8cm (9.5in) in length ..... i will order one tomorrow..... btw will ati still support the 2900 series after EOL?
depends what you mean by eol. Their drivers tend to be backwards compatible. For the hardware you get whatever the mfr warrantee is.
