they usually give it a once over and then give it a warranty if its good.
not sure about the price though.

Buy this warranty. It is excellent value and is one of the best warranties you can have.
It is actually the Porsche 111 point check and if I recall its around £100 - £200, never had one done but sounds about right. If he wants a Porsche warranty and does not have one he will need this. If he wants to get his car checked over to ensure is straight I would advice one of 2 or 3 specialists who will do an even more thorough job.
