Are there any apps available yet that let you add box art etc to those games that are not automatically recognised by the Games Window? I know you can do it by messing about with the registry but it's a p.i.t.a.
 

fair point but both methods linked to still involve quite a bit of manual mucking about. I'm surprised that no-one's come up with a wizardy thing that does all the registry tweaks and stuff.

The easiest method I've found as yet is to simply drag some downloaded (and correctly named) box art (from AllGame or similar) into the games explorer window. Then right click the image and Add in commands pointing to the actual .exe file.

This saves all the registry tweaking but has the slight down-side of having to right click the entry then left clicking on the executable to launch the game. Double clicking in the normal manner simply opens up the image in paint or whatever.
