Best place to sell a car

Hi guys,

Not posted in motors before but thought I would seek a little help from the pro's. I am looking to sell my car and wondered what your thoughts were about the best place to advertise it?

I was thinking about advertising on Autotrader but should I go website & mag' or just the website?

Thanks in advance, any help appreciated.

btw, it's a Volvo V70 2004 in top condition so nothing for you guys to get excited about

Or even one of those boards you can stick in your car window look alright.

Thanks. I have put a board in the window. Not thought of auction sites; I'll look into that. Price = £12,900.

I'd personally avoid a normal auction , people seem to think that you'll accept anywhere from 20-40% less than the car is worth

Not sure about the classifieds type thing on the 'bay though.

If it was performance/specialist i'd suggest pistonheads, as its not i'd have to go with autotarder on this one.

Stick it on pistonheads for a start, it's free so you can't really go wrong. Also Autotrader too but that will cost you to advertise it.
